With a brief analysis of the bill of sales and assignments in an actual case Brian is litigating, you get to see how it is easy to point out all the breaks in the chain of title to kill the right of the collector or debt buyer to sue you. Here, Brian does a quick review of a great case that just came down smoking PRA for illegal debt collection and filing a collection lawsuit with no assignments or standing to sue. The Trial Court also heard that PRA's own Custodian of Records could not connect Ms. Green's account numbers to the proof from PRA but still found Ms. Green liable somehow. This Court of Appeals Opinion smoked the trial court, PRA and then set a "standing" precedent for other states and assignment cases. This is what I have been preaching for years in court and for your videos on hacking collection lawsuits.
