Brian reviews a video by SoloSuit.com's ( @solosuit ) owner, George Simmons titled "Six Tips for Drafting the Answer in a Debt Collection lawsuit" to see if it matches up to Michigan law or if any of the tips work. The Solo Suit video gives out bad advice based upon completely wrong information and if a consumer follows the SoloSuit instructions, it could potentially cause a Michigan consumer greater harm and damages. In Brian's opinion and after 30 years of practicing law for Michigan and Florida consumers, the Solo Suit video should be titled, "Solo Suit's Six Tips on how to lose a Debt Collection lawsuit in Michigan." Caveat Emptor when paying for something like this.

After providing you with a video on how to Dispute a Debt under the FCRA, Brian now shows you how he validates a debt "his way" to give the validation requests added punch. Collection Attempts and Lawsuits are conceptually, two separate things but, in this video, Brian shows you how, as always, debt collectors and debt collector law firms are bridging the two separate things by placing the mini-Miranda in their lawsuits. This is where there are riches to be gained against them. They volunteer, you move in and take advantage of their big mistake and protect yourself before and after they sue you. Go get 'em.

This video introduces you to the nuts and bolts of credit reporting disputes and the different approaches to cleaning up your credit.  Brian takes you through the how a credit dispute letter is written along with the responsibility of the various companies receiving the dispute.  How to remove something negative or wrong? That is dependent on why the inaccuracy is on your credit report and if the reporting is legitimate. ID Theft is discussed here too.  The law that covers credit report inaccuracies is the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). However, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) plays a role too. Here, Brian breaks down the documents Velocity provides in its lawsuit to show you they don't own a debt they are suing upon. The whole thing is as a result of the debt collector trying to patch up the chain of title holes with a false affidavit and missing assignments from the initial seller (cross river) who as the original creditor, securitized the debt and other actors showed up claiming the right to the debt. The paperwork, numbers, names and dates don't match up for this lawsuit to ever have been started. Just use the debt collector's own paperwork against them and win this case. Its all about the assignments, baby.

Here, Brian breaks down the case against (The) National Collegiate Student Loan Trust fictions and how you can beat them with their own documents. See the documents to use against them. NCSLT are more bottom of the barrel less than debt buyers and they own nothing-their own documents show it. Go ahead and take on these guys who file more junk debt in the student loan space than any other company-they also don't exist. So, don't pay what they want, pay what they deserve. Good luck.
