Research shows that at least 50 percent of Americans will be diagnosed with a mental illness or disorder at some point in their lifetimes. In spite of that, it’s still something that can be seen as stigmatized by our culture and hard to open up about personally. But that’s not helping anyone. So . . . let’s talk about it.

We all feel the pressure to put on a happy face and tell the world we're fine. But in a season like this, if we're being honest, we're probably all "not okay" in one way or another.

During times of uncertainly and disruption, the people around us need to know we care. We often need to step out of our comfort zone to comfort someone.

People want certainty, but sometimes that’s not possible. When certainty is not an option, you can still offer them the next best thing.
