This week, we're NOT talking about how to catch up on the mountains of stuff you're behind on.
No time management — No delegating — No uber-efficient productivity plans.
In reality, those are all Tylenol. 💊
Sometimes they help make the pain go away.
But they never address the root cause of the problem. Which means it has full permission to keep showing up, for the rest of time.
And we really don't want that because...thinking "I'M BEHIND" every second of the day feels terrible.
So in this episode, I challenge the entire notion of "behind." 🤯
I ask some questions that may bend your brain a bit.
And then I ask some questions that just might set you free.
In my experience, no one's life (or career) has EVER caught on fire when they let go of the idea of "I'm behind." So that's what I propose we do.
You just might take back control of your workload, your pace and your sense of inner peace — worth it!

Are you walking around your life with ridiculously high expectations of yourself in everything you do?
My guess is...probably. 😬
'Cause even though it's exhausting to always go "above & beyond" - that's also how you've created a TON of success for yourself.
So how do you manage it? How do you balance "high standards" with "I want to actually rest sometimes and not burn myself out doing A+++ work on even the tiniest thing that I know doesn't really matter!"..??
That's what this episode is all about! 🙌
How to life the Curse of the High Bar.
It's not about "giving up and doing crap work for the rest of time" (also I've met you...that'll never happen 😅)
But it IS about giving yourself the option to give less time, money & energy automatically - because in all honesty, we can stand to lower the bar in a LOT of places in our lives. And nothing will catch on fire.
As you break the habit of always expecting above & beyond from yourself, you'll free up so many resources to spend on things YOU truly care about - Which will let you love so many more of your choices!
ENJOY.

We think about guilt in a couple of backwards ways.
Either we feel it ALL the time, and think we "should" / deserve to...
Or we think we're WRONG for feeling it at all, because we "should know better" and this is a silly habit to have as a grown adult.
I vote NO to both options.
You do not owe it to the universe (or yourself) to feel guilty 1900 times a day. You simply aren't stealing and murdering enough to warrant that amount of remorse!
NOR should you be able to turn this emotion off like a lightswitch, simply because you're able to "rationally" see that it doesn't make sense in a given scenario. (If only humaning were that straightforward, no?)
But humaning is messy. And guilt is an emotion you're going to feel. So let's get intentional about it!
In this episode, I break down the steps we work through in Coaching to rework how GUILT works in your life.
Remember it's a process that requires practice to change this habit. But if it means feeling 90% LESS guilt for the rest of your life, and making WAY more authentic, aligned decisions... worth it!

We hate people-pleasing. (Duh.)
And yet, it happens SO often — Sometimes we don't even notice 'til we're out the door and down the street, when it hits us: Wait did we just agree to something we have zero interest in doing?? (...for example...😉)
That's when a quick fix like today's tool comes in SUPER handy.
If you can notice yourself thinking "Is it ok to (upset...disappoint...inconvenience...) So-n-So?" — then you can use this tool!
The trouble with this question ("Is it ok...?") is, it's a low quality question.
This episode gives you a better question to ask, for INSTANT results!
Get ready to make more authentic choices you feel good about. 👍

What does is actually take to "believe in yourself"?
Besides the obvious stuff...Do objectively amazing stuff, which other people call "amazing" out loud!
Truth is, "objectivity" has little to do with self-belief. (We can talk ourselves out of ANY achievement...I know you get it!)
And external validation - while delicious - only goes so far!
At some point, we have to do the hard work of SELF-BELIEF.
And normally, that point is long before we have piles of shiny evidence to support said belief.
So, on the cusp of entering the final year of my 30s (🎈!), I reflected on my own self-belief, and the journey I've seen so many clients travel over the years: from Struggle Bus to Belief Machine. 🦸♀️
In this episode, I break down the 6 Keys to Believing in Yourself (and why they take some work!).
If you've ever struggled with up-and-down confidence, and you're sick of waiting to finish the next WIN before you believe you can actually do it (!) this one's for you!
I hope you take a sec to soak in just how much you CAN believe in yourself...and how good the rest of your life will feel as that Self-Belief takes ever deeper roots!

Why do we not celebrate ourselves?
From GIANT accomlishments down to seemingly "teensy" wins (that - obvs - are, in reality, a huge deal...)...Well, because we think:
A fundamental part of my Coaching is that self-celebration & acknowledging WINS regularly (read...every. single. week.) are non-negotiable.
Why?
Because without this, you condemn yourself to a life of "I'll be better when..." and "I'm not celebrate-able yet."
You turn your life into Product over Process. And that's no life any of US is trying to lead.
I hope this week's episode inspires you to take a beat. C-E-L-E-B-R-A-T-E. Literally anything.
This practice has changed my life, and dozens of clients' lives.
If what you're after is a healthier, more peaceful relationship with yourself - and a HAPPIER day-to-day life - this is the episode for you.
Enjoy!! 🎉

There aren't many things powerful enough to make/break your entire story of "How's life?"
TIME is one of them.
Everything in your work, relationships, health, baking experiments, ALL of it...could look like it's comin' up roses from the outside.
But if you don't feel like you're using your TIME well, it kinda all feels like crap. (Right?)
I wanna help you stop feeling like you're fighting TIME — and start feeling like you're not just in charge of it...but you're HONORING it too.
Real-talk: Time is your most precious resource.
The reason it's such a powerful determinant of how good you feel about your life is because you know, deep down, that without it — you've got nothin' & you can't do nothin'.
And if you're dishonoring your TIME (read: wasting it...burning it up...mentally missing out on it...), it's scary.
Because you know you can't get it back — and you know those habits are hard to change.
So in today's episode, we're making it EASY.
We cover 3 things to QUIT in order to honor your time better.
Chip away at just these three things this week & I promise: Your relationship with time WILL shift.

Aight. You need to make a decision. You've acknowledged that you don't wanna regret it.
Now what?
Awareness is key here: Understanding what EXACTLY you're afraid of is what's going to let you take confident next steps forward.
I know - it's completely unpleasant to think about what you might feel & what might "go wrong" - but in this episode I show you how to think through all that in a deliberate, self-validating way.
We break down the three things people REALLY fear when they say "I'm afraid I'll regret it" - and how to address each fear constructively.
If you're struggling through a decision and this fear of regret is a problem that ain't going away on its own - this episode is for you.

When you think about what gets in the way of confident decisions, FEAR OF REGRET has to be at the top of the list.
It's easy for this fear to become a regular roadblock in your decision-making process, too.
Here's what I needed to do, to take back control of my decision-making process and stop experiencing such panic about "what I might regret" in the future:
The truth is: Learning to stay on your own team — NO MATTER WHAT — is the key to not living in fear of regret.
It's definitely a process, not a one-time event.
But it's work WORTH doing, for the sake of trusting your decisions — and yourself!
