In today’s episode, Sharon shares her passion for God, people, hair and dance with us. It was a beautiful conversation of how God uses people to bless us, challenge us and grow us and how his plans for us are always bigger and better than our own. In 2020, God peels away the layers and asks Sharon, “What is in your Fridge?” She empties the Fridge (her life), removes the stuff, and makes room for God and in that moment He does amazing things in her life.

Three of the nuggets that Sharon shared are:

    1. It is important to empty our fridge (life) of the stuff! The stuff that weighs us down, hinders our growth and separates us from God.

  • Peace Reigns Within Her

Join us for a soothing and inspiring conversation between friends. As I opened the Podcast, I termed what we were about to do as an interview in my quest to be “professional” but what flowed their after was a good talk between two good friends whose friendship is built on a shared love for God, our faith, and our love for people. Ineke “Peace Reigns” Murray is a mother, Author, Entrepreneur and owner of Peace Reigns within Boutique.

When I asked Ineke what makes her a strong, courageous and resilient sister, these were her answers:

“What makes me strong? God does! All that I am comes from Him and because He walks with me I am able to go through and endure confidently!”

“What makes me courageous? I understand that fear isn’t real, it exists in the mind as a mechanism to stop us from being our best self and once you understand that concept you are good to go!”

“What makes me resilient? Knowing that the blood of greatness runs through my veins; giving up, stopping, sinking my head in the sand is not part of my DNA so of course resilience is a must!”

In today’s episode, Peace shares with us:

The fond memories she had growing up in Jamaica with her parents and grandparents and the lessons they taught her.

The journey to Mississippi for school and a new life.

The importance of having a growth mindset.

The importance of being bold enough to go after your dreams.

The importance of seeking after and achieving peace which is found in God.

Here are a few of my favourite lessons that Peace shared:

Lesson 1: God is our peace!

Lesson 2: The power of resilience, which she calls bounce-back-ability!

Lesson 3: The power of self-reliance!
