Since first launching at the end of November 2022, ChatGPT has taken over our news and social media feeds. While AI has been around for a while now, this is one of the first times that it has been used at such a critical mass by so many regular users simultaneously, and that’s a big deal.

So this week the Queens are looking at ChatGPT, as well as some of the other popular AI tools like Lensa AI that are currently being utilised online. What do they do, what are their implications, and can the law keep up (it can’t)?
