Rabbi Druckman was a child survivor of the Holocaust who came to the land of Israel before the establishment of the State of Israel, and was involved in every historic moment of building up the spiritual aspect of the Jewish State of Israel from back then to his last dying breath. He never stopped working for the Jewish people, even receiving people to help them at 2/3am in the morning at his home. He was that type of Rabbinic leader.
