Ha, I know right. I suspect that parents don’t have these conversations with their kids before social media and school tell them a version that is all too often wrong and instills first of all a topic in kids minds that most are not ready to hear, and also in their learning from any other source other than from the Bible, that other source instills massive insecurities, and I know this because insecurity breeds insecurity, and if the teacher is dependent on the world for its knowledge on sex they have insecurities about it or a totally demonic view of it. Okay there it is. Yes the devil corrupts what sex should be and corrupts how you see yourself and he loves for you to compare yourself to other people. It makes it very easy for him to plant a whole field of insecurity seeds in your mind and thoughts.

This message started its life out as a 6-part series. This however makes it difficult for those who want the whole bite all at once. Well, so here it is six into one.

Sometimes I get so excited to get into a message that I forget to hang up the target before shooting.

So let’s hang it…

Why a message on mission, purpose, goals, for a Christian walk, for your Christian walk? Why should you spend the extra time in your very all-consuming life to plan out what you think God is calling you to do in the short amount of time you have on earth? Do you know your talents and strengths that God has given you to carry out His plan for your life? That you complete His will with? Do you understand how your personality affects your daily interactions with others and how you can use that you move forward in the will of God? Do you have the gift of healing, prophesy, signs, wonders, miracles? You have been created for a purpose and God would not place you on this rock ill-equipped. I have seen way too many people try and cut wood before putting on the chain. Your chain is the special way that God has put you together. You know that the Bible states to take time to sharpen the saw (Axe):

Ecc 10:10 - If the ax is dull, And one does not sharpen the edge, Then he must use more strength; But wisdom brings success.

This message touches at the heart of Applied Strengths Ministry (ASM) and is, I believe, todays answer for the world via the church. The authentically born-again, bride of Christ, filled and overflowing with the Holy Spirit, running first and foremost to serve the Kingdom of God in power that will shake this planet to repentance and usher in a harvest not yet seen by the eyes of this world church. You know every corner on this planet must have one of these right? Nope. Walgreens and fast food restaurants have the corners for now. And why not, doesn’t the world rush in wherever the church leaves presence voids? Yup.

So how high does my horse have to be for me to declare that ASM is the “answer?” I mean who would say such a thing but an arrogant fool. Well I’m no fool but for Christ, and I have read the stories in the Bible and believe even the Index to be flawlessly true, so given that God seems to respond to an aching heart for Him and for relationship with Him, it is quite possible that what I have stated is true. Now it won’t be because I have the tools to bring it about, nope, it will be because there is power in the kingdom of God. Now I am not talking about magic, nope…I know I have got to stop saying nope and yup, but side track me not, I must remain focused so as to finish typing this out.

Can we go on a non-drug induced trip? Ok so let’s go. Imagine being in heaven right now seeing the earth and all that is going on about it. No sin, selfishness, flesh to impede your vision or sight, just pure looksee loo. And in that moment you get a revelation of the distinction or difference between the power that resides on earth and the power that resides right where you are sitting. And what if God asked you for your opinion on how you might plan on setting up a ministry that would be effective for your generation. Now don’t forget you are right then aware of the difference in power, the spiritual tools available to you, Gods provisional and logistical assistance, the horde of angles and fiery chariots and horses at your disposal, and because you can see unobstructed in that moment, you can see the lost and wondering sheep.

Well so you see in that brief moment you could have quite the strategy for success right? But wait a minute. Something was missing in Heaven that only existed on the earth. Faith, oh but you know it that faith to believe and to call those things that don’t exist as though they do. Now my advantage just shifted didn’t it? I can see and believe it from Gods perspective right here on earth.

There is a movie, and I’ll wrap up this intro with this, called 300. Now that is one of the coolest battling against the hordes of creeping things and people who are bent on unjust murder movies out there. I know Lord of The Rings has lots of creepness in it also, but no this 300 movie as cool as it is, pails in comparison to what I want this ministry to do to the kingdom of darkness that is currently swaying the whole of this planet as I sit and type this out. With revival and deliverance, and salvations comes warfare almost equal in proportion. I am ready because I am not ready. The Bible says when sin abounds then grace abounds more. Grace is a fiery weapon infused with the love of God and when exercised properly can shake the planet straight up for God. Listen, and plant a seed, and help me build this ministry. We are limitless and have yet to see what our great and mighty God can do and to what lengths He will go for the lost souls of His clan.

What is this about Ken? Well as a believer in Christ you have been removed, mindfully that is, from any who are not believers. This doesn't mean you move out of your house or neighborhood if you get saved. It means that you begin to distinguish the differences and behave accordingly.  Most I am sure have never heard a message like this because you would have to have a bit higher of an emotional intelligence (EQ) than a baby Christian. As you listen through this message seek how God might be asking you to make any adjustments as it relates to your current relationships. This is very important for your growth and for your maturity into being a disciple and for being equipped for the work of ministry. The unsaved can present a huge, and do, distraction to those who don't know how the devil works nor how God works. If you're offended that I said that...great let's start there and grow together. It is after all your choice as to which of the 10-virgins you want to be (Matt 25:1-13).

So who in the jungles of Paradise would title a message "Gorilla Bananas" and expect anyone to get where the story might be going. Well, I would and I do because I am me, and after more than four decades of shying away from me because I was sure I was born faulty, I finally adopted the fact that God had really made me this way and that I should live out the rest of my days in some part convincing others who also didn't fit into the faulty and falsely created mold. I am a pretty funny guy and strangely enough I don't need you to laugh to validate this fact.  But know that you are dealing with an authentic guy who simply tired of the labels no one else could proudly wear even though it was they who created them; or their parents or other members of the family. Either way you be you, let them be them, and us be us.

Thanks for the minute...I am back. So this message is about the hard stuff that we often do not focus on being unless you are a religious nut or Jesus Himself who has returned and is hiding among us in the crowds. So now I had to make an assumption here in that you are a bit like me in that these things are for the other guy that I will probably never run into on this planet. Nope, they are not and I assure you, you get no pressure from me to try and be them, to wear them, to embody the entirety of their attributed selves.

But so let's say we try. Let's say we give it a go and see if God in faith can bring this about in our lives.

No father, no mother, no genealogy? How is this so? Well does satan have any of these? Nope, so then there you go; no but he is not of the line of satan. I felt that I needed to say that just in case you thought...oh well never mind.

In this series you will find out the mystery of who this man, person, creature being is. And more than that you will find out some other excerpted sections from other messages that hem this message in so to speak.  Now of course because those Hemmite's are important I did separate more comprehensive messages on them, and you will know once we get into the message what I am talking about. But for now let's talk about what so few Pastor peeps talk about. You know I get their limitations in speaking about such matters in that we, that is the church, seem so busy keeping babies, babies that it is hard to find the meat eating crowd.  T-Bone anyone!

In today’s world there is a great attack against those in authority. Now we cannot blame the God-blind from actin’ the fool and doing things that a person of God can see as harmful or even just plain stupid. What, you want a modern day example? Ok so here is a sign of the times with a sign as big as the moon.

 “Defund The Po Po”

Of course criminals are in favor of such an action. Hello? Why would they not want those in authority to be in authority? Remove someone from a position of authority and someone else will fill it. That’s how it works. Self-promotion is the easiest way to get into something you are not equipped or called to be in. Now behind these type of statements is the one who attempted to usurp his authority and extend it to the next position above his. The problem was that there was already someone sitting in that chair and He didn’t vacate it…

The light of darkness beware…

So in this message I was compelled to start with the New Testament and go into the Old Testament. Not sure why but I didn’t even plan on doing a message on the many faces of darkness because I thought it was kind of clear cut…at least in my mind. But that doesn’t even matter because as I was working on a message and pulled up a scripture that had the word “darkness” in it, I believe that God wanted me to shift from that message and start on this one. Simple. Besides the message titled, “Nicodemus Is What It Looks Like To Go From Saved To Saved” is about a saved dead man and a delay in the message shouldn’t run his patience short, but the “Darkness” message seems to be a “right-now” message or Word. Right now meaning I type it up this week and then go to Digi-film in the Spring or just keep it sounding.

Well if you’re going to be defined as an "oholic" then by all means pick one that speaks to purpose and destiny, rather than one that steals it. I have been other oholics but have found that this is the best type to be.

This comes from the mantra, "In service of others." not sure who coined it but no doubt they didn't expect that it would...change as many people as it did...I know I did it again. But let me alone it's my two cents. Oh there is no hope here.

Helping others to be the best version of themselves is something worth living and dying for. You see if you placed 100 people in a room and gave those who were living life, striving to be the best version of themselves, a green t-shirt, and you gave the one’s who were simply living life in a 100% reactive mode, only 10 or 12 people would be wearing a green shirt. Some ask the question what happened to America, and to that, I would say that we lost direction and purpose when we walked away from God. Get God, get purpose, and live!

The idea for this message came from watching football. I began to notice how many drinking commercials there were. But what caught my attention was another unrelated but related commercial which opened up with a tagline indicating that the man walking down one of the infamous tunnels that the team travels down to enter onto the field, he was a retired football coach. He began drawing on a white board and made three points about gambling. One of the points stood out: he stated something to the affect, “gamble responsibly.” Now this isn’t the first time a commercial has peeked my interest and made me think perhaps I am nothing more than a dumb Elephant as I sat there eating another handful full of my spicy peanuts. I wondered if that is why they said such-and-such in that commercial – because they think that I am a dumb Elephant.

Now because of the way my mind works I began to flash through my mental commercial rolodex and found that other industries also using the same lie to lure you into taking a first or the next step into a very additive and potentially lethal habit forming habit. Watch me pull a rabbit out of my rabbit right! No, but so anyway they throw the dog a bone so that you are not focusing on the “killer product” which could be the bone, but they get you to focus on fruit of the-slight-of-hand, that is that they get you to believe there is meat on that thar bone so get ta nibbling.

Now if you are not a sinner and have never allowed anything to grip your Adams apple then this message is not for you. However, if you know that the devil likes to get you to fish in a pond called potentiality then you should endure the strange beginning to this message with the promise that it will get better.
