Deeper Callings & Horse Magic

Hi friends! I wanted to piggyback off last week's episode to talk about how we can support ourselves in the creation of our big vision. When tough times hit, it can be hard to stay on course, and it's important to set ourselves up for success the best we can. In this episode, we talk about supporting ourselves financially, through community, and in the trusting of timing. You are not alone on this journey. Join the conversation and let me know your thoughts.

This episode was in response to a message I received in regard to "how I had so much free time," so I thought it would be a good opportunity to speak about the hidden work involved in building a dream. The work we don't always see on an Instagram highlight reel. But, don't worry, this episode isn't all work and no play. We discuss finding the work that we don't mind doing as well as the illusion that we sometimes have around other people's stories. Give it a listen and let me know your thoughts.

Also, I mention briefly a family member that has been in the hospital this past week. Unfortunately, she passed away yesterday. She was my honorary mother and this loss cuts deep. I will share more about her in the coming episodes.

Hi friends! This is a bit of a bonus episode. For 2023, I decided to set my intentions with the Lunar New Year and the New Moon, when my body and energy felt better. In this episode, I talk about some different ways to set intentions, what not to get hung up on, and how to stay sane when things don't seem to be going as planned. Enjoy!

If you've been following me for a while you know I have been creating Horse Spirit and Spirit Talismans and Mini Intention Wands for the last several months. Woodcarving, whittling, crafting, whatever you call it, has been an incredible, new creative release for me, but it has also been a wonderful mirror in this season. In this episode, I break down 12 life lessons I've witnessed and reconnected with through the process of creating these special pieces. Also, this is the 50th Episode, and I will be starting Season 3 very soon! I am doing a complete refresh of the NRC Podcast and will return more aligned than ever. Thank you as always for listening and please, rate, review, and share when you feel called to do so. Enjoy the episode and let me know what this sparks in you!

Hi friends! I have a question for you. What do you think of when you hear the term "creative gift"? Is it a skillset, a calling, or your purpose? Maybe it's something else. In this episode, we dive into what it could mean, but most importantly what it means to you. What are you actually seeking when you use the term, creative gift for yourself? Join me as we break this down and find out what you are truly seeking as a result of these words. As always, please let me know what this conversation sparks inside you and share it with anyone who would benefit from this content. Thanks, and enjoy!

Did you know Gonzo (yes the Muppet) is a Weirdo? Yes, that is his actual species and why he was always my favorite Muppet. I always felt like a weirdo and was called that several times in my youth, by bullies at school, but also by friends and family. I used to wear it as a badge of honor, even in the beginning stages of being humiliated for it. Over time, I eventually locked that bit of me away. It didn't feel safe for little weirdo Nicole to come out and play. However, since I began this journey, little bits of that unique, different-thinking, sensitive weirdo have returned. If you have lost touch with those gifts and special quirks that make you you, or if you just love Gonzo, then this episode is for you. Thanks for listening and let me know what resonates.

Sometimes we just need a break in order to get things moving again. In this episode, we talk about the importance of having some type of restorative space where we can reconnect to nature and our inner voice. It is essential to have someplace we can go to come back to center and back to ourselves. Give this a listen to hear a few ways we can do this no matter what your current circumstances may be. Enjoy and please share with anyone who would benefit from this content. Thanks!

A common debate I hear is whether or not you should turn a hobby you're passionate about into your career. Does it kill your love for it or does it make work seem like fun? How do you know which it will be? In this episode, we take a peek into some parts of my journey in this respect and dive into some of the ways to identify what is right for you and your passion. Thanks for listening and enjoy!
