We have hunted some highly intelligent bucks in our time.  We said it before, there are some stupid deer out there. There are deer that will come back to the same stand they get shot from, walk with their backs to the wind, and one that even stuck around while we dropped gear out of the stand!  Other deer may try to even pattern you, watching you get into your stand, or bedding where they can see you enter the woods. Some say the older they get, the smarter they get. There are some deer that simply become educated. We wanted to break down deer IQ and discuss just how smart deer really are.  We took our own experiences  to see if hunters are maybe giving deer too much credit, or if some are the "Albert Einstein" of the deer world.
