Story 1, Neighbor sets neighbor’s house on fire….

Why did you set fire to my house? “why not?”

Neighbor was going to “cleanse this place”

Apparently this woman had tried to start a fire at another home 4 days before

Questions/Thoughts

1. This is not the neighborly thing to do…setting fires to neighbors houses

2. Not a psychologist…or a lawyer….but, could something have been done before she started the 2nd fire?

Story 1, Landlord accused of threatening to kill tenant over security deposit

a. Charged with threatening to kill or cause serious harm…

b. Why would this be ok?

Story 2, Landlord disgusted by tenant’s leftover belongings

a. Unable to do inspections because of the pandemic

b. The renter moved out…but left cat poo, dirty dishes, half eaten food everywhere

c. So, the hint something was amiss was when workers weren’t able to work due to the mess.

The owner of the building has had scaffolding up since 2006!

In 2006, the tenants were happy the building Façade was getting repairs…

The Quote from NYC department of buildings…“Sidewalk sheds are a necessity in our city to protect pedestrians from buildings that have been allowed to fall into disrepair. The landlords at 51 West 86th Street have a legal responsibility to keep their buildings in a safe condition and make needed repairs to the façade.

“Doctor” is accused of having animals in his apartment…some dead.

Thoughts/Questions

1. Where’s the line on keeping goats in your apartment?

2. There is an ordinance against keeping farm animals in your apartment

3. Doctor says he is killing animals for food…but leaving dead chickens around and having a pigeon nailed to the door makes that argument suspect to me…at the very least, somewhat unsanitary.

Intro

Story out of Idaho….heartbreaking, Dog wanders onto neighbors farm property, neighbor shoots the dog. No charges

Thought that was bad, but the dog was on the neighbor’s property…

Then closer to home, in Crestwood, picked up this story…

Dog wanders off on neighbors’ property, neighbor stabs it to death with a knife. He gets charged

So those two things happened on neighbors’’ property…that has some logic

But then I saw this story out of Louisiana….Dog is in it’s own backyard and neighbor jumps the fence and murders it with a machete..neighbor is charged with trespassing and cruelty to animals

Have you ever seen a tree growing through a property for sale?

Now you have….look at this house in Florida…here’s the link on Realtor.com…

Thoughts/Questions

1. According to the agent, she would have had the house sold already if the tree wasn’t there…the asking price is $899,000

2. Apparently there is an issue with getting the home insured. That’s the issue.

3. When you look at the pictures on Realtor.com, everything seems normal until you see the tree….in the kitchen….
