It is great to be behind the mic!  I took most of Lent off to delve deeper into prayer and am thrilled to be back.  In this episode I take a brief look at the heresy of Docetism.  It is still alive and well unfortunately and a key belief in at least one major world religion.

This question carries with it huge implications.  If Jesus was a mere man then he was just another man that died on the cross and we are still in sin.  In this episode I discuss some of the verses where Jesus makes the claim to be God?

This morning I read from Matthew 14:11.  Jesus took some time to be alone and rest.  It is an important lesson for all of us.  Sometimes we go so hard for so long that we may do more harm than good.  It is ok to rest.

It is a crazy time we are living in.  Fear rules the day, but this morning I read from Isaiah chapter 41.  God is still in control.  Let's take the necessary precautions but not give in to hysteria.

This title of Mary seems to trip people up quite a bit, but it has everything to do with a proper understanding of who Jesus is.  Jesus contained both the human and divine natures from the time conception.  The divine nature did not enter after he was born.  

I am a little upset this morning.  I have watched several videos over the past few days from preachers who have told people that as long as they are donating to their ministry that they are immune from the Coronavirus.  This is nothing but a money grab and people using fear for profit.

I this episode I talk about how I messed up on my lenten commitment.  I suspect I'm not alone.  Don't beat yourself up.  Tomorrow is a new day.
