Are you afraid to evangelize?  I'm not talking about standing on a street corner with a megaphone.  We all have a gift that we can use to build the kingdom.  No gift is too small.  

This morning I was reflecting on Matthew 5:27-28 and it got me thinking about how we treat people in our culture.  Are we treating people like objects?  Whether it be an object of pleasure or disdain I think we have lost the point as a society of what it means to care for one another.

In this episode I go over three things to grow closer over the Lord over Lent.  All are meant to continue when Lent is over.  Make time for prayer, Eucharistic adoration, and go to confession regularly.  You will grow in holiness, faithfulness, and charity.

It is hard to believe, but we don't know everything.  To grow in faith we must be willing to learn from everyone.  I had an experience like this recently and I am so glad I listened.  If we are not open to correction, then we will not get better, and we will not grow in faith.

If you want to make any impact for the Lord it begins with being available.  Are we available to those who are hurting, to answer questions, and to just be there for one in need?  We can have all the head knowledge we want, but it means nothing if we are not allowing the Holy Spirit to utilize it.

In this episode I go briefly into the teachings of four church fathers.  Did the early church believe that the Eucharist was the body and blood of Christ?  I look at St, Ignatius of Antioch, St. Justin Martyr, St. Irenaeus, and St Augustine. The answer we come up with is YES!

In today's episode I go over some of the biblical evidence for the Eucharist.  We discuss passages from the Old and New Testaments.  I this helps with understandings the doctrine more.

Over the past couple weeks I have been reading and reflecting on Psalm 51, and it got me thinking about the sacrament of reconciliation.  We all sin and need to seek God's mercy, but why is reconciliation a sacrament that appears to be underutilized?  We should be going often.  God's mercy is free.
