  • Episode 102 - FRANKENFISH!!!
We’re headed into the swamps this week to talk about FRANKENFISH! This giant killer fish flick is directed by Mark Duppe(Spawn), written by Simon Barrett(You’re Next, The Guest, Blair Witch) and Scott Clevenger and stars Tory Kittles, K.D. Aubert, Donna Biscoe and China Chow. Frankenfish is loosely based on an actual snakehead fish infestation in Maryland circa 2002. The movie, however, is about Medical Examiner Sam Rivers as he travels back to the swamps where giant fish start picking off the residents of a houseboat community. There’s white guy dreads, voodoo subplots, some mafia guys or something and a heart-eating! It’s really entertaining!

  • Episode 101 - THE CLUB!!!
Grab your vaguely period formal wear because this week we’re joining THE CLUB!!! Directed by Brenton Spencer and written by Robert C. Cooper The Club stars Andrea Roth, Rino Romano, Zack Ward and Kelli Taylor as teens who get frozen in time on Prom by the demonic John(JH Wyman) and are terrorized by evil forces and also a pedo/murderer guidance counsellor played by Kim Coates. Despite some problematic messages about victims of sexual assault and abuse, this movie is very fun and JH Wyman really has a lot of fun in his role of the goofy, sinister demon in a pyramid scheme. We really enjoyed it!

  • Episode 99 - SPLATTER UNIVERSITY!!!
If a movie makes less sense than Horror House on Highway Five… we know we’re in trouble. Grab your arsenic-laced prune juice because this week we’re talking Troma’s SPLATTER UNIVERSITY! Directed by Richard W. Haines, Splatter University is very loosely about new Professor Julie Parker who arrives to her new position with a history of murder. Then her Sociology students start getting stabbed to death. Why? Ummm… maybe sinning or something? Forbes Riley really does her best with what she’s given as Julie and Kathy LaCommare as one of her students Kathy was also a standout… but the plot is virtually non-existent. There’s a weird narrative about reproductive rights and safe sex strung throughout, some of the biggest asshole characters we’ve talked about and an infuriating ending. Are you seeing Mark?

  • Episode 98 - SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE III!!!
It’s time for Christopher’s annual birthday Slumber Party Massacre! We finish the trilogy with SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE 3!!! Written by Catherine Cyran and Directed by Sally Mattison, this instalment stars Keely Christian, Brandi Burkett, Maria Claire, Maria Ford and Hope Marie Carlton as a group of friends being killed by the dreamy Ken Woodhouse played by Brittain Frye. The fashions are outstanding, the characters have dimensions and there’s actually some pretty good acting happening. SPM III is a really solid slasher flick and we love it!

  • Episode 97 - NIGHT OF THE LEPUS!!!
These rabbits ain’t no Easter Bunny! This week we’re talking boring 1972 killer rabbit flick NIGHT OF THE LEPUS! Starring genre icon Janet Leigh, Rory Calhoun, Stuart Whitman and McCoy from Star Trek as folks doing their darnedest to solve this giant rabbit problem that they also caused. There’s ketchup blood, paint blood, miniature Ritz cracker boxes and equinicide. Mehhhhhh.

  • Episode 96 - THE NIGHT BRINGS CHARLIE!!!
Friday brings a new episode, but THE NIGHT BRINGS CHARLIE! Written by Bruce Carson, Directed by Tom Logan and Starring Kerry Knight, Aimee Tenaglia, Monica Simmons and Joe Fishback, this 1990 slasher about a Vietnam vet gardener with a penchant for decapitation has some fun moments but is kinda dull and disjointed. The only saving grace is the weird caricature that is Ella the Sassy Secretary!

  • Episode 95 - VIRUS!!!
Before there was COVID-19 there was John Bruno’s lame ship/cyborg/alien movie VIRUS! This flick stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Joanna Pacula, Donald Sutherland and William Baldwin as they deal with an alien energy form that takes over a Russian ship to create cyborgs and spiderborg things in order to eradicate the human race. It has some stunning accent work from Donald Sutherland, pretty great practical effects and lots of poking around in the dark! Stay safe out there everybody!

  • Episode 94 - LEPRECHAUN 3!!!
It’s that time of year again and we’re talking the third instalment of the Leprechaun franchise! Directed by Brian Trenchard-Smith and starring the incomparable Warwick Davis, Academy Award nominated screenwriter John Gatins, Genre icon Caroline Williams and Lee Armstrong, this outing finds the Leprechaun in Sin City wreaking havoc at the Lucky Shamrock casino. There’s were-Leprechauns, exploding butts, gay coding and more!

  • Episode 93 - KILLDOZER!!!
What do you get when a meteor crash lands off the coast of Africa and then gets hit by a bulldozer? This week we talk 1974 made-for-tv movie KILLDOZER! When one of their bulldozers becomes sentient, six-man construction crew played by Clint Walker, Carl Betz, Neville Brand, James Wainwright, James A. Watson Jr. and Robert Urich have to fight(or just sort of lazily move around) for their lives to try and survive. Featuring some of the most boring, flat characters and a questionable timeline Killdozer is just kind-of meh!
