Rates of dementia are rising across the country as people become better informed about the condition and how to recognise it.

But there's a skills gap when it comes to taking care of people with dementia.

Isabelle Meyer, the executive director of Dementia Training Australia joins John to talk about the training people can get to work professionally caring for people with dementia, as well as how to better interact with loved ones who might be suffering.
