You may have noticed that Democrats on Capitol Hill are trying their best to keep the Jan. 6 investigation in the news. Making the spring and then the summer and then the fall about former President Donald Trump would be a huge win for them, given the calamitous state of Democratic midterm election prospects these days. But even though the Jan. 6 committee will get a lot of coverage when it finally unveils its report, the fact is, the Democratic Party cannot divert voters' attention from losing issues such as inflation, crime, and the border crisis.
