  • Is Miraculous Power from God or Satan?
The sermon examines Luke 11 to refute the accusation that Jesus cast out demons by Satan's power, establishing that his miracles are definitive proof of God's kingdom. It contrasts the unified nature of Satan's realm with the divine authority demonstrated through the 'finger of God,' emphasizing that supernatural events must be judged by their spiritual fruit and outcome. The message warns against neutrality, asserting that one is either aligned with Christ or opposed to Him, and highlights the danger of experiencing God's power without genuine faith. It concludes by declaring that true blessing belongs to those who not only witness miracles but also hear and obey the Word of God, leading to eternal deliverance from sin.

  • A Faithful Plan For False Teachers
A Faithful Plan For False Teachers reveals how to deal with false teachers biblically. Guard your heart with 2 Timothy 2. Faithfulness to God often meets fierce resistance from those who profess Christ while spreading false doctrine. In this expository preaching session from 2 Timothy 2, Pastor Richard Caldwell explains the danger of worldly chatter and ruinous speech. Believers must exercise biblical discernment to avoid the relational and demonic snare of empty arguments. To protect the church, spiritual leaders must accurately handle the word of truth. This requires direct, careful, and unashamed teaching of Scripture rather than engaging in meaningless debates. God provides a firm foundation for His people, offering absolute certainty even when false teachers upset the faith of others. Ultimately, the Lord knows those who are His. True Christians are characterized by a continuous repentance and a deliberate departure from unrighteousness. We can rest in the sovereignty of God as we stand firm in Reformed theology and biblical truth. Key Biblical Takeaways: - Believers must embrace the responsibility to warn others about the destructive nature of deceitful arguments and false doctrine. - Faithful Christians must diligently cut a straight path with Scripture, presenting God's Word accurately and avoiding worldly chatter. - False teaching spreads like a disease and ruins hearers, making strict biblical boundaries essential for the spiritual health of the church. - God's sovereign foundation remains secure, and His true people demonstrate their authentic faith by departing from evil and confessing sin.

  • Freedom From Oppression
Why did the Pharisees stubbornly refuse to acknowledge Jesus, even in light of His miracle working abilities? Does demonic oppression play a role in our blindness in areas that are well lit? Are we able to distort reality to avoid submission to God? It appears demonic oppression can blind us in ways we're unaware of. Pastor Jamie urges believers to recognize satanic power over what would otherwise be our plain and clear sight. Please listen to "Freedom From Oppression," to find out how we can see well in this darkening world.

  • Two Tale of Two Wisdoms
The sermon contrasts worldly wisdom, characterized by bitter jealousy and selfish ambition, with heavenly wisdom that originates from God. It identifies earthly and demonic sources for false wisdom, which leads to disorder and vile practices within the community. True wisdom is described through seven attributes: purity, peaceableness, gentleness, reasonableness, mercy, impartiality, and sincerity. Believers are called to examine their hearts and reject counterfeit motives in favor of a life marked by good fruit and righteousness. The message concludes with an invitation to embrace Christ as the ultimate source of wisdom and to become peacemakers who sow righteousness.

  • The Kingdom and the King | Matthew 9:18-38
In Matthew 9:18–38, Jesus displays His authority, compassion, and mercy as He raises a girl from the dead, heals a suffering woman, restores sight to two blind men, and frees a demon-oppressed man. Each miracle points beyond physical healing to Jesus as the promised King and Savior who sees people in their helplessness and brings true hope and redemption. Seeing the crowds "like sheep without a shepherd," Jesus calls His disciples to pray for laborers for the plentiful harvest. That same mission extends to every follower of Christ through the Great Commission: though believers have different gifts and roles, all are called to use their lives—going, giving, praying, serving, and making disciples—for the shared purpose of making Jesus known. The cost of this mission is worth it because Jesus is worth it, and its ultimate end is the worship of Christ by people from every nation, tribe, people, and language.
