The number of people seeking asylum here has dropped 40 per cent in the past year.
Figures for the first three months of the year show just over 3-thousand people arrived here seeking international protection, compared to 5-thousand-100 during the same time last year.
The data also shows the number of deportation orders tripled in the first three months of the year, from just over 300 to just over 1-thousand.
