I am here to tell you that paint is NOT the first thing you do. Folks move into a new house & are gifted with a paint consultation for their home. They have individuals come in and advise them on paint, but they do not have any furniture!

Recently I sat down with a few designer's and we discussed all things business.  One topic in particular had my complete attention and it is what is commonly known as trade discount. If you speak to clients, a few will consider it "double dipping", but is it really? Aren't we running a business? Why  are designer's asked to share?  

Today I share about the showhouse that I am currently involved with. It is exciting and scary at the same time. If you get an opportunity to do a showhouse, do it!
