When did you discover your passion? (04:07)
- I did have some skills in the areas of helping people grow and change and so It probably started in high school
-I didn't really know exactly how it would all turn out and how the gifts and skills that I have would eventually be used, but it all kind of muddled together and turned out, okay.
Advises on how to look for passion? (06:14)
- I think they need to look at their passions
- I think lots of people have passions. And they ask that very practical question, can I get paid for this?
- if you can't marry your passion with your income production, then you darn well better reserve a ton of time and energy for it outside of work.
Tom's six areas and habits of success (19:57)
- A lot of people think success is this thing, or that thing, is this all over the map. It's literally taking these six areas, and focusing on the six, and mastering the six.
- One of the practices I see is time and quiet reflection
- Really successful people recognize the importance of good sleep, and of quiet reflection, contemplation, and meditation
