This week Destinista is joined by her cousin Ess, they had a good ol' time discussing "pick me" culture! They defined what a pick me is, why people choose this life, how men encourage women to want to be one, what it looks like in REAL life and the importance of doing some choosing for yourself.
They both also admit that they've had "pick me" moments and told some hilarious stories. But at this big age - If you're looking for someone to fit your mold the girls say DON'T PICK ME.

This week Destinista switches it up and starts the episode off with some affirmations and then she read a story from her book of short stories, A Book of Failed Love Stories, entitled "No, Thank You". She also delves into how this connects to her current work situation, how many of us say yes to things because we lack the confidence to stand in what's true for us, and how problematic that can be. It's a great episode and as usual will leave you with something to reflect on.
