Detecting resistance in imported perennial ryegrass seed lots
Herbicide resistance in imported ryegrass seed lots is so widespread it is safer for farmers to assume that resistance is present, AgResearch scientist Chris Buddenhagen told CROPS.
This follows research showing that 20 of 28 seed lines tested, or 70 per cent, had some resistance to Group 1 and/or 2 herbicides.
