The founder of Detour Doughnuts in Frisco, Texas, Jinny Cho grew up working in her parents’ doughnut shop and has been on a journey ever since to create radical change via the popular baked treats. Through her own shop, she is serving up creative and culturally relevant flavors that go beyond the traditional offerings. Jinny chats with host Abena Anim-Somuah about her detour from the world of medicine, her place in her community, and her dreams as a newly minted permanent resident.
