Drivers in Redford Township are being forced to reroute around a sinkhole. Puritan Street. west of Fox Street near 5 and a half mile and Inkster is closed due to the sinkhole. Wayne County says the street will be closed for a few days as crews make repairs.

This new report looks at population totals on a county-by-county basis from July of 2022 to July of 2023 and while Wayne and Oakland Counties both saw small population declines of 7,700 and 600 residents respectively, Macomb County saw a slight uptick in the number of residents adding about 1,000 people.

The U.S. House has passed legislation that could ban TikTok in the United States. The bipartisan vote was 352 in favor of the ban, and 65 opposed.
