“When we tell people that they need to be consistent in their business, consistency is taken to the extreme. It's almost like you can't show up at all or you have to show up for 365 days a year. Just know that it doesn't fly, it doesn't work. Let me tell you this, you can do Facebook lives for 365 days and your business might not grow.”
This week on the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, our discussion is going to center around the topic of having consistency in our business in order to foster and develop trust with our clients and audience.
The type of consistency that I am trying to promote here may not be what you think. Thankfully, it doesn’t involve you doing live videos for the next 365 days. The consistency I am referring to actually has more to do with having a clear consistent message that you can always deliver to your audience, regardless of how or where you are showing up. Even if you go live every day, if you cannot deliver a consistent message your audience resonates with, it isn’t an assurance that your business will see exponential growth. That’s not all there is to it.
You may go ahead and talk about anything and everything under the sun for an entire year and still fail to see growth in your business. You may opt to do a live video just once a year, but if you’ll have people reacting like,” what did she just say?”, more or less you and your business are in pretty good shape.
Having a clear message and brand, these are exactly what you need to get people's attention and grow an engaged audience.
