You smile a bit more often,

Your thoughts get lost in them

When you love someone.

The sun shines much brighter,

Your footsteps are lighter.

When you love someone.

Your days become longer,

As feelings grow stronger

When you love someone.

Your nights are more lustful,

Your heart is more trustful.

When you love someone.

AIR KISSES 

The sun sets in the distance as we embrace. 

I hold on to you tightly,

 As though my life depended on it, 

In some ways, it does. 

I like it. 

I close my eyes and feel our hearts beat 

In synchronized rhythms. 

Our chests merge to become one. 

Your warm breath bathes my face and neck 

With feathered air kisses. 

It tickles. 

I like that too. 

At this moment, 

The world stops spinning, 

And time stands still, 

For us.

DREAMS COME  TRUE

I’ve imagined you for most of my life,

Didn’t think you would ever be mine.

I hoped that one day, I would be your wife,

And our love would stand the test of time.

We would say, “I Love You” every day,

And we would never have to wonder,

If the other felt the exact same way,

We could never be torn asunder.

We would remain faithful and true,

And secrets would never exist.

You would respect me as I would you,

And we’d seal each night with a kiss.

I do believe that dreams come true,

And good things come to those who wait.

I knew in my heart; I would receive you.

A little patience is all it would take.

EMBRACE YOU

Don’t emulate others,

Embrace you.

Others may know what they want,

But only you know you.

You’re stronger than you think you are,

And more creative too.

So, all the things you’ve dreamt about,

Are waiting to come true.

It’s time. 

I can feel it.

Talked enough. 

Teased enough. 

Fantasized enough. 

Smoldering intensity 

Exudes from both of us. 

The tension is building. 

Immediate release is no longer a want,

It is now a need. 

Our bodies need one another. 

Enough is Enough. 

The time is now for us 

To come together and be one.
