TEMPTATION'S PRISONER

Tempting. 

My eyes danced 

As I watched you walk away.

Your swagger is undeniable, 

And it teases me.

I like it.

You stop suddenly,

As though you can feel the lust-filled fire

 That radiates within me.

My imagination refreshes continuously

 With countless visions of our contorted bodies.

We lock one another in an infinite embrace.

Temptation takes us prisoner.

Satiation sets us free.

NO CONTACT 

Visions of you

Invading

My every thought

Eyes open. 

Eyes closed. 

I see you

I reached for you

In vain

No contact

My eyes fill

With silent rain.

It took more than half my life to accept myself without finding fault in what God created. It feels amazing!

EVOLUTION OF ME

Courage was distant,

Confidence non-existent.

Beauty within me,

I could not see.

Opinions of myself,

Formed by someone else.

Much time passed,

Wasn’t sure I would last

Transformation took a while.

I relearned how to smile.

Beauty within, I can now see.

That was the evolution of me.

When love is lost, it can be difficult to refocus and prepare for attracting new love. Be strong, be positive and believe in the reflection you see in the mirror.

REFLECTION

Days are long, nights seem longer

Since we've been apart

Feel so weak

Wish I was stronger

But you still hold the key to my heart

Our love affair was great at first

Thought nothing could come between us

What eventually happened could not have been worse

You selfishly betrayed my trust

Fortunately, now, I love myself

No need to worry about me

I no longer need acceptance from someone else

I listen to the reflection that I see.

Nothing feels better than being in love and having lust as a primary ingredient.

LUST IS ENOUGH

I felt a spark the moment we met.

I’ve never believed in love at first sight.

Is it possible to love someone

You’ve never seen before?

Someone you know nothing about.

Yet, when we met, I struggled to breathe.

My eyes were fixated on the image that was you.

My heartbeat accelerated

As I unconsciously

Bit my bottom lip.

This may not be love,

But who cares?

For now,

Lust may be enough

SCANDALOUS

I stood alone.

Waiting.

Not quite sure for what

Then, I felt you

Standing behind me

On cue, my head slowly tilted left

Revealing my naked neck

You planted soft kisses

My body tingled with excitement

In anticipation of what was to come

Scandalous images of us invaded my mind

I turned to face you

Your eyes told the story

My heartbeat quickens, anticipation builds 

As I impatiently await your arrival. 

Although I was expecting you, 

The sound of the doorbell still startles me. 

My heart beats even faster as I stand, inhale deeply, 

Exhale slowly and hurry to open the door. 

The very sigh of you renders me pleasingly breathless. 

My eyes absorb your image. 

The scent of your masculinity permeates the night air 

As I gaze at you adoringly 

And fall into your outstretched arms. 

Emotional rescue mission, 

Successfully completed.
