Terry Francis and Phillip Martin put out the podcast "Do the Work" as a resource to equip ministers of the gospel, and to help all Christians understand the work of evangelism. So on today's episode, they join us to discuss... feet? In fact, the Scriptures often use specific imagery of feet to depict those who spread the good news of God. Terry and Phillip discuss how necessary good teaching is to the health of the church, and why it is important for teachers to develop their skills. We also look at the preparation that goes into preaching, and how all Christians contribute to the proliferation of the gospel of Jesus Christ. And we see how the metaphors of foundation, footwear, movement, and injury apply to the deeper truths of life in the church.

As we begin the next season of the Devotional Doctors podcast, we spend some time in contemplation of the body as a whole. The Bible is full of language regarding the body, both literally and figuratively. Particularly in the book of 1 Corinthians, the apostle Paul uses the language of the body to speak of the church of Christ. In this episode, we look at 1 Cor 12, and how Paul describes the unity of the body, the diversity of the various members, the value of all the body's components, and the relationship of the body to Jesus.
