  • What Makes You Insecure Has No Bearing On What Makes You Attractive to a King

In this episode we briefly discuss the Shulamite's woman dialogue with King Solomon in Chapter One of Song Of Solomon. The passage from Song of Solomon 1:6 and later in 1:9, highlights the Shulamite woman's insecurities about her dark skin, which she fears may be seen as a flaw by King Solomon. However, Solomon views her differently, celebrating her beauty and uniqueness in 1:9. He compares her to Pharaoh's stallions, signifying her rare beauty and stature fit for a king. The lesson emphasizes that true attractiveness is based on how one is perceived by a king, or man of value, rather than personal insecurities. Spiritually, this passage has insights that communicate this message; for which is that regardless of perceived flaws, trusting in Christ means being accepted and valued in His eyes. This is just one of many biblical illustrations that metaphorically displays the beauty of the Gospel message and Christ's Bride, the Church.

  • A Helper Fit For Him

Today Devotional’s centers around the wife's role as a helper. Using an illustration of how freight trains travel through mountain peaks and valleys. In similar fashion, God in his infinite wisdom decided to give man a helper to power him through the mountain peaks and steep valleys of life. Also, the wife’s role as a helper is in no way less powerful than her husband just like the rear locomotive is no less powerful than the front locomotive. God created her with purpose and intention as a image bearer of the very image of God himself. Yet, what sets her apart is her role as a helper to her husband. Therefore, her submission is vital to the mission of their success as a unit. In similarity to a train’s mission to climb a steep mountain grade they will not make it up and over in one piece without the full harmonious cooperative use of the helper unit’s power. • Prayer Is A Great Way to Begin to Find A God-Fearing Spouse.

In this episode we discuss finding Issac a God-fearing wife and this tasks was delegated to Abraham’s most God-fearing servant. As readers engaged with Genesis Chapter 24, for which is the longest chapter in the Book of Genesis, what stands out from the pages of this chapter is that this servant is a man that prays constantly. The servants behavior is reminiscent of what the Apostle Paul writes in 1 Th 5:16-17, “ Rejoice always, pray without ceasing.”

Also, listeners will observe in the text that Abraham’s servant is full of praise. But, he is also is wise because he prays before he acts, in which coincides with what believers are advised to do in the Book of Proverbs, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding” Proverbs 3:5. Take note of this insight, that before the Servant searches for the young maiden that he begins his assignment by seeking direction from God. The servant did not lean on his own understanding but relied on his prayer life. How different is his behavior from many believers today. This is a behavior that Christian singles can learn from; that prayer is a great way to begin to find a God-fearing spouse.

Therefore, yield to God's guidance in your dating process. If after listening to this episode, and you feel that this episode has been a blessing then please support this podcast by sharing it with a friend.

  • Repair A Marriage With Boundaries

In this episode we discuss Ch. 3 of Hosea. this is where God instructs Hosea to restore his marriage to Gomer who has abandoned him for her other lovers. Yet, with much GRACE towards a wayward woman, God wanted Hosea to be wise in his dealings with Gomer going forward into the future.

Moreover, it is an amazing insight to observe here in the restoration phase of Hosea and Gomer’s relationship that even though grace is applied by God through Hosea when their family is reunited; yet, Hosea is not a fool because he is influenced by God to establish order with his wife by creating boundaries that will assist in maintaining family order.

Finally, there is one life application for those that may find themselves one day in a similar broken marriage as Hosea, and that is a marriage should not be restored without a plan that is inspired by God’s Word. A plan that includes strong language that is designed to build the strict boundaries that will be required to bring godly order to the relationship. • Respect For The Chain Of Command

This episode’s devotionals consist of a talk around respect for the family chain of command and servant leadership. An example from the episode includes a discussion in regards to a husband that desires to be a servant leader and to model his behavior towards his wife after the standard that Our Lord has set. The ultimate standard Christ set was by being a sin sacrifice, the gruesome death on the Cross, for His bride the Church’s salvation and sanctification. Christ’s example of servant leadership is the only example for a Christian husband to follow.

A Christian husband must be willing to give up aspects of his life for his wife’s well being. In return for his willingness to sacrifice for his wife’s well being, therefore, in return a Christian wife must be willing to accept her position within God’s chain of command for the family and respect her husband’s leadership. Furthermore, her respect for husband’s position in God’s chain of command should be motivated by her desire to please Christ. For it is Christ that is at the top of the family structure, and it is Christ that has full control of her life.

The episode ends with a guide towards a practical spiritual exercise by reading Ephesians 5:22-33, praying and meditating on the text. Then ask yourself a question; as a Christian wife do you feel you can respect the man that you are thinking about marrying as the future leader of your life, as well as the future leader of your children lives? Lastly, do not forget to pray about your conclusions. If you have enjoyed this episode and have found it uplifting please add to your favorites, follow and share.

  • Influencias Familiares Externas

We clarify terms like "Momma's Boy" and "Daddy's Girl," highlighting the importance of honoring parents while navigating In-Law relationships. The example of Jesus caring for His mother illustrates the balance needed. Issues arise when spouses rely too heavily on parental guidance, undermining their role as family leaders.
