Aliens (1986)
Directed By: James Cameron
Starring: Sigourney Weaver, Michael Biehn, Bill Paxton, some cyborg fuckers.
Still on our 80's kick, we are watching one of our social media poll'd movies, and this time around it's obviously Aliens from 1986 (but you knew that if you clicked to play this, right?). IMDB tells us that Aliens follows: Decades after surviving the Nostromo incident, Ellen Ripley is sent out to re-establish contact with a terraforming colony but finds herself battling the Alien Queen and her offspring.
We reference our Alien episode multiple times so click here if you wanna listen to that too!

Ghostbusters (1984)
Directed By: Ivan Reitman
Starring: Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, some ghosty fucks.
With the upcoming 40th anniversary of the 1984 release of Ghostbusters, we take a look at slimer the little spud, stay puft and Venkman and crew to see if this movie really is a classic. IMDB describes Ghostbusters as: Three parapsychologists forced out of their university funding set up shop as a unique ghost removal service in New York City, attracting frightened yet skeptical customers.

Hands of Steel (1986)
Directed By: Sergio Martino
Starring: Daniel Greene, Janet Agren, Claudio Cassinelli, some other arm wrestling fuckers
In the future, dryer vents provide fresh air and all disputes are solved with arm wrestling. This week we take a look at the 1986 Italian cyborg-action flick Hands of Steel (Tubi), in which IMDB describes it as: A cyborg is programmed to kill a scientist who holds the fate of mankind in his hands. He fails and hides in a diner in a desert run by a woman who likes him. The people who sent him are after him and so is the local arm wrestling champ. How can this not be good?

Directed By: Tim Kincaid
Starring: Rick Gianasi, Joe Derrig, Richard Mooney, seriously, who are these fuckers?
John's pick this week as we dive into a movie that has a kind of intriguing poster. I've always told not to judge a book by it's cover, and that's probably still the case with this 'film'. IMDB describes The Occultist as: "A cyborg private eye is hired to protect a Caribbean president visiting New York City from sadistic sorcerers. Where behind the lush beauty of the island lurk powers of darkness so evil no man has ever fought them - and lived." Just... wow. This poster looks like someone took Kai's Power Tools and fucked around with the flame filter in Paint Shop Pro 3.0. WTF.

Godzilla Minus One (2023)
Directed By: Takashi Yamazaki
Starring: Minami Hamabe, Ryunosuke Kamiki, Sakura Andô, some stompy monster fuckers.
Let's just start by saying if you're looking for some old school Godzilla action, this probably isn't gonna be your favorite movie. Godzilla does smash some shit, but in this episode we get into more of the human element and we actually talk about something we're good at, disappointing people. IMDB has this to say about Godzilla Minus One: Post war Japan is at its lowest point when a new crisis emerges in the form of a giant monster, baptized in the horrific power of the atomic bomb.

The Terminator (1984)
Directed By: James Cameron
Starring: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, Michael Biehn, some cop fuckers.
Man from future go fight man from future in past. World go boom. IMDB has a little more intelligent take: A human soldier is sent from 2029 to 1984 to stop an almost indestructible cyborg killing machine, sent from the same year, which has been programmed to execute a young woman whose unborn son is the key to humanity's future salvation.

Late Night with the Devil (2023)
Directed by:Cameron Cairnes, Colin Cairnes
Starring: David Dastmalchian, Laura Gordon, Ian Bliss, some demonic fuckers
Hopefully giving this one week to breathe is enough time for us to talk about one of the more talked about new(ish) horror movies that's getting a lot of buzz. Late Night with the Devil is one that John has really been looking forward to, so we wanted to bring this one to you quick. IMDB describes Late Night with the Devil as: October 31, 1977. Johnny Carson rival Jack Delroy hosts a syndicated talk show 'Night Owls' that has long been a trusted companion to insomniacs around the country. A year after the tragic death of Jack's wife, ratings have plummeted. Desperate to turn his fortunes around, Jack plans a Halloween special like no other, unaware he is about to unleash evil into the living rooms of America.
We Talked About:
The movie John mentioned he had heard Late Night with the Devil was based on: Ghostwatch
The guy who suplexes himself into all types of ridiculousness: Super Humman

Scream 2
Directed by: Wes Craven
Starring: Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Some Other Screamy Fuckers
This week we do it a little different and have a good talk about this little indie film called Scream 2 with Sam and Jordana from Feature Creatures DTF. If you're not really familiar with what Scream 2 is about, IMDB describes it as: Two years after the events of Scream, Sidney Prescott and Randy are attending Windsor college. They are trying to get on with their lives...Until a new Ghostface killing spree begins. With the help of Dewey and Gale, Sidney must find out who's behind the murders. As the body count goes up, the list of suspects goes down.

The Iron Claw
Directed By: Sean Durkin
Starring: Zac Efron ,Jeremy Allen White ,Harris Dickinson, some other brainbusted fuckers.
The Iron Claw tells the story of the Von Erich family, four wrestling brothers who really just love each other very much, but of course tragedy has to happen because it has to, and that's the bottom line. IMDB describes The Iron Claw as: The true story of the inseparable Von Erich brothers, who made history in the intensely competitive world of professional wrestling in the early 1980s. Through tragedy and triumph, under the shadow of their domineering father and coach, the brothers seek larger-than-life immortality on the biggest stage in sports.

Road House (2024)
Directed By: Doug Liman
Starring: Jake Gyllenhaal, Daniela Melchior, Conor McGregor, some other brawling fuckers
It's about time we looked at a new movie, and while this one has been around for a few weeks now, no time better than the present to talk about a reboot/re-imagining of a 80's classic. Instead of Patrick Swayze, we get Jake Gyllenhaal, which... ok I guess - and instead of the Double Deuce we get "The Road House". Does the change of scenery do it any good? IMDB has this to say about the latest version of Road House: Ex-UFC fighter Dalton takes a job as a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse, only to discover that this paradise is not all it seems.
