    The DFSR crew of James Davis and Doug Norrie returns to the podcast after a week hiatus to discuss the Tuesday slate of MLB action for FanDuel and DraftKings. They kick things off looking at some of the pitchers going today and looking at whether Clayton Kershaw is still in the conversation for best arms in the game.

    They also look at a pivot to Zack Greinke and where guys like Domingo German, Shane Bieber and Andrew Heaney stack up as cash games options.
    Of course, there’s a game in Coors to deal with considering two below average arms take the mound there. But they also look at the Reds against Lucas Giolito and the Astros facing Austin-Bibens-Dirkx.

  • Special Episode: DFS PGA talk for the Travelers Championship - 6/19/18

    Coming off a crazy US Open, the PGA keeps things rolling with a stacked field at the Traveler’s Championship. DFSR’s Doug Norrie and Chris Durell take to the podcast discussing what to look for when putting together lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel.

    First, they go back and look at some lineups from last week’s US Open and discuss how to target some specific bets ahead of time in PGA.
    Then it’s on to the Traveler’s where Chris walks us through the Pete Dye course and which golfers to target going into the weekend. They talk about Paul Casey, Emiliano Grillo, Si Woo Kim, Patrick Reed, Pat Perez and more.

  • DFS MLB Podcast for Tuesday 6/19/18 - FanDuel and DraftKings

    DFSR's Doug Norrie and James Davis are back at it on the baseball podcast discussing a full slate of Tuesday action for FanDuel and DraftKings. They start off with the discussion about the ace-level arms of Justin Verlander and Chris Sale taking the mound. It's a tough choice between the two (assuming you can't play them together on DraftKings). Verlander has a slightly better matchup and moneyline, but Sale is clearly the better of the two arms. 

    They also look at guys like Domingo German, Vincent Velasquez and Jameson Taillon coming in the middle tier of starting pitchers on DraftKings. 
    On the offensive side of things, there's a game in Coors with a run line creeping towards 12. Nolan Arenado against a weak lefty is always a great spot and today could be a time to jam him into lineups. Plus they look at a bunch of other teams facing gas can arms.

    DFSR’s Doug Norrie and James Davis take to the Friday podcast discussing a full slate of action for FanDuel and DraftKings MLB. They begin with a breakdown of some of the pitching options and how this might be a night to get some solid arms on the cheap. Ross Stripling appears too cheap on both sites in a matchup against the Giants. He makes for an excellent cash play all around. 

    Then, of course, there is Corey Kluber who is getting better as the season moves forward. He’s been able to go so many innings per game. 
    They also look at Zack Godley, Kevin Gausman and James Paxton who is facing the Red Sox.

    Wednesday baseball action is in full force with games starting at noon eastern and rolling through the evening. The DFSR crew of Doug Norrie and James Davis take to the podcast discussing the evening slate of games for FanDuel and DraftKings. There’s a lot to look at, especially with the pitching options. The guys have a lengthy discussion about what to make of the gains made by both Gerrit Cole and Trevor Bauer this season, both of whom are putting up elite numbers.

    They also look at Nick Pivetta who’s enjoying a nice season and has a great matchup against the Rockies. But Luke Weaver and Andrew Suarez also get to face the Padres and Marlins respectively. There’s a lot to like with the pitching Wednesday evening.
    For stacks the guys look at the Twins against Matt Boyd, the Phillies facing Tyler Anderson and the Reds against Jason Hammel.

    It’s a huge week of PGA action with the U.S. Open going down starting Thursday morning. Golf majors are always big weekends for DFS action on DraftKings and FanDuel. Chris Durell is on the podcast breaking down everything you need to know about this weekend’s action. He looks at the course at Shinnecock Hills and how it excepts to play. He also breaks down which stats will be important when targeting specific golfers for the weekend in both cash games and GPPs.

    There are some weather concerns, specifically, wind to make sure you factor in when making lineups and which golfers could run afoul with gusty settings for tee times.

    DFSR’s Doug Norrie and James Davis take to the Tuesday podcast discussing a full slate of MLB action for FanDuel and DraftKings. It’s a tough day on DraftKings for pitching considering the top options are all very, very expensive and the cheaper guys have a ton of question marks.

    The look at the merits of Aaron Nola, Lance McCullers, Miles Mikolas and Mike Foltynewicz on FanDuel but on DraftKings all expect McCullers are coming in around the $12K range. That makes for a tough sell considering their respective peripherals.
    On offense, there’s a veritable smorgasbord of bad pitching taking the mound. The guys try to wade through some of the stacks to find the best values.
