Listen Later

This VETChat episode is part of our series on supporting and empowering women in veterinary, hosted by Kathryn Bell. Joining Kathryn today is Tasha Walsh, a relationally trained Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor and founder of Seen and Heard Therapy.

In this episode, Kathryn and Tasha talk about ASC and ADHD in women. Tasha shares a bit of her background and what made her want to start working in this area, she explains what ADHD is and its symptoms, and how they may overlap with other neurodivergent diagnoses. They discuss why it may go undiagnosed for so long and how young boys are diagnosed much more frequently than young girls. Finally, Tasha shares advice she would give to someone with ADHD on how they can improve their workplace and personal life.
