In this episode, I share how I approach practically setting a goal and then taking action to achieve it. I'm talking about the Strategic Planning process that I and my client use to learn from the past and inform what we're going to do in the future. Then how from there I improve things that are working to do them even better and fix the things that aren't but I still want to take action on them. I'm sharing specific examples from my business and personal life.
And if you want to double your business (or more :)) without adding more work while eliminating stress and overwhelm, I invite you to coach with me. Let's start by talking in detail about what it would look like for you. Set up a free initial consultation here https://calendly.com/maggie-s2l/discovery-call
Happy New Year! 2024 is going to be great! Better than 2023 :)!
How? Because we're going to grow together as leaders. And when you grow, your business and results grow. That's how :).
And to help you to the faster and more powerfully, I am transforming Motivational Mondays of the Diamond Effect Podcast to Maggie's Moments on Mondays :). It's not just a name change of these bonus episodes. There is much more to it. I explain the details in the first Maggie's Moment today. So tune in to find out. Then, if you haven't done it yet, subscribe to the podcast on your favorite platform.
May the coming year be marked by new milestones, breakthroughs, and the realization of your business aspirations.
Learning from your own experience is one of the most powerful ways to accelerate your business growth. The second most powerful way to shortcut your journey to results is learning from someone who already knows. The two combined work magic :). I know because I do both, and my clients do both as well. And we experience that magic.
In today's podcast, I'm sharing my own most powerful lessons from 2023. One of them is that Strategy and flexibility may seem like opposites, but in my experience, they're a winning combination. Following a strategic plan 80% of the time has been key, yet the remaining 20%—reserved for seizing new, aligned opportunities—keeps my business dynamic and growing. It's about the balance of discipline and openness to the new.
I invite you to learn from me and implement whatever resonates with you. Plus, if you haven't done that yet, spend some time reflecting on your own lessons. Enjoy both!
The holiday season is a time for joy, reflection, gratitude, and rest. I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey we've shared together this year, my dear listeners. In today's Motivational Monday, I'm sharing some fun stats about the Diamond Effect podcast and offering us a challenge of giving back. Giving back is a big personal value of mine, and every year, I try to do a little bit more of that than the year before. I invite you to join me.
It's been a privilege to be a guest in your ear this year :). I am sincerely grateful for the trust you've placed in me by tuning in to this podcast. I wish you and your loved ones a holiday season filled with laughter, love, and rejuvenation.
This past week, my clients and I created Strategic Plans for our businesses for 2024. Part of this event was to celebrate one's successes, big and small. And for some of us, that was the hardest part. Many reasons contribute to that: being a high-achiever, not accomplishing all your goals as you wanted, com[parison to others. All those traps that our brains fall into can prevent us from this important action.
Yet celebrating successes, no matter how small, is a crucial aspect of fostering a motivated mindset. Acknowledging even minor achievements provides a sense of accomplishment and boosts self-esteem. That's what my clients felt once I got them to do the celebration exercise. Pride, confidence, and joy.
This practice not only encourages continued effort but also helps to create a more resilient and optimistic outlook on challenges. Celebrating small victories is like fuel for the soul. It can motivate you to strive for more significant accomplishments and reinforce the belief that hard work pays off.
Plus, it contributes to a healthier work-life balance by reminding us to appreciate the journey and savor the triumphs along the way. That is why in today's podcast, I am sharing with you the exercise me and my clients did last week. So that you can do and benefit from it. Plus, I am exercising my vulnerability muscle :) and sharing with you some of my successes this year (big and small :)).
And if you want to double your business in 2024 without adding more work, I can help. let's talk about it in more detail during a free initial consultation. Schedule it HERE.
If you're feeling increasingly stressed and maybe even overwhelmed as the Holidays are approaching, today's Motivational Monday is for you. This one powerful tip will help you manage everything on your plate better and start enjoying the Holidays.
Sonja Keeve and I both hold executive MBA degrees from Jack Welch's Management Institute. We met during one of the JWMI's networking events and realized that our journeys from employee to entrepreneurship, despite being different, also have many similarities. We decided to talk about that and share those experiences in the form of a podcast episode.
Three questions guide our conversation:
1) How did you start your business?
2) As you transitioned from the corporate to the entrepreneurial world what was the hardest part to deal with, and what was the most fun?
3) Along with that, what type of mindset shifts do you have to make going from employee to business owner, and maybe what type of habits/ skills you developed in corporate helped you in your business?
And we talk about so much more. This is an episode you don't want to miss.

Still debating if you should take time from your busy schedule to create a strategic plan for your business? Today's Motivational Monday talks about three key benefits of doing that.
And if you need help making it practical and straightforward to implement, schedule a free consultation with me here. I'll be happy to guide you.
Creating meaningful connections and, with it, relationships is key to growing your business. It can be relatively easy when you have a person in front of you and you can start a conversation. But what about online marketing? When you're creating content (a post or a video), it can feel like you're talking to no one. A void. Or millions of people you don't know at once. And what about a former client who has finished working on a project with you?
In the episode, I talk about building connections in marketing and in the client's journey, especially in situations that are not as intuitive.
