• As the poet said… "Running Up That Hill" by Kate Bush. (For the record, this episode was recorded in April of 2022, a good month before Stranger Things Season 4 made this song a meme, briefly. This is the sort of thing that Adam gets his brain stuck on sometimes.)
• Þockborr. Þockborr. Þockborr. ÞOCKBORR!

Surprise! There's a TTRPG by Heather Flowers and Aura Belle set in the Extreme Meatpunks Forever universe and we here at Dice Punks were favored with an advance copy of the rulebook! We were so excited, we decided to surprise everyone with a one-shot GMed by Drew, and it was a blast – we hope you enjoy it!

Content warnings are given by Drew at the beginning, but include: body horror, dysmorphia, dismemberment, political violence, and gore. As he notes, we're not being edgelords, that's just the stuff you can expect when meatpunks and fash clash!

Check out Extreme Meatpunks Forever, the TTRPG preorder and the video games!

• As the poet said… "NOMI (feat. rook&nomie)" by HEAVEN PEGASUS.
• "Neck meat" was a feature of our inaugural one-shot!
• While you're here, check out the Extreme Meatpunks Forever music composed by Visager: "CRASH QUEEN (feat. M. Gewehr)" is a jam!

• As the poet said… "Wondrous World of Punt" by Therion.
• Bloodstones, specifically in circles, are a part of the world of the excellent Welcome to Night Vale, though of course the naming here is nothing more than an amusing coincidence.
• This is, as far as we can reckon, the first episode in which Lyssa's Lucky Advantage has actually paid off! Huzzah!
• Lyssa made a reference with "Rage, rage against the [coming] of the light!" The original line was penned by Welsh poet Dylan Thomas.

• As the poet said… "Forgotten Love" by Elis.
• Linking Den's fic that we mention in the episode and the Peeks didn't make it into the notes of the episode closest to when it was posted (just due to brain-fog), but we're thrilled to link it here!

• As comes up in the preamble to the episode, Adam was suffering from the plague during this recording, and there were some issues with the levels, so we think we did a pretty good job with the edit, but there are bound to be some rough edges -- DIY, baby!
