The Dallas Mavericks sent Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers for Anthony Davis, Max Christie, and a first round pick, and according to The Athletic Dallas called at least one other team offering Luka up to them. Given Mavs GM Nico Harrison said Defense Wins Championships to explain the move, did the Mavs call Jon Horst to offer Luka in exchange for Giannis Antetokounmpo, and should Horst have said yes?
