Sean "Diddy" Combs was indicted on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, with the indictment accusing him of running a criminal enterprise that facilitated abuse and exploitation for over a decade. The indictment alleges that Combs manipulated and abused women and male sex workers in elaborate, drug-fueled "Freak Offs" that he organized, directed, and recorded. He reportedly used intimidation, drugs, and control over their careers to ensure their participation, with events lasting for days and involving violence and coercion. Combs’ former girlfriend, Cassie, has publicly accused him of rape and abuse, which was settled out of court in 2023.


The indictment further claims that Combs orchestrated a wide range of criminal activities, including forced labor, drug trafficking, arson, and bribery, using his staff and resources to conceal the abuses. Law enforcement raided his homes in Miami and Los Angeles earlier this year, seizing narcotics and thousands of bottles of lubricant. As one of the most influential figures in hip-hop, Combs’ reputation has been significantly tarnished by these allegations, though he continues to deny the charges and plans to plead not guilty in court.
