Jurors in the federal trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs are set to begin deliberations on Monday, June 30, marking the final and most consequential phase of a case that has gripped both the entertainment world and the legal community. After seven weeks of testimony—including 34 prosecution witnesses, graphic accounts of abuse from women like Cassie Ventura and “Jane,” and surveillance footage showing Combs assaulting Cassie in 2016—the case now shifts entirely to the jury’s interpretation of the facts. The 12 jurors, made up of eight men and four women, will return to court to receive final legal instructions before beginning deliberations behind closed doors. No witnesses were called by the defense, and Combs himself did not testify.
