What do you need to focus on?

Yesterday we discussed that having a strong backend is crucial for any business.

Having a strong backend can literally a whole business, but how do you do this?

There's a concept that I learned some time ago, is called the value ladder.

This simply is kind of different "levels" your customers are in.

You cannot make an $10,000 offer to a complete stranger and expect him to buy.

That is simply not realistic.

But what if you offered that same stranger something for free?

And after that you make a $50 offer, and after that a $500 offer, and after that a $7,000 offer and so on...

That is exactly what the value ladder allows you to do.

Having one allows you to get people into your sales process with not much resistance. That way you earn people's trust, then start making offers, each one more valuable than the previous offer.

And that's how you can offer your most expensive products and make sales.

How does the backend of your business looks like?

Most people worry about just the front end profit.

Why?

Honestly I don't know but I'm pretty sure that is because the "gurus" out there just teach that. That's the "sexy" part of the business.

Most people want to super optimize their sales page, their logo, their ads, the colors of the checkout.

Come on...

I'm not saying that isn't important but that won't make or break your business.

Having a strong backend strategy, a customer journey, is not very "sexy" to talk about.

Think of big brands out there. You don't buy just once or twice.

You buy multiple times and that is where they make the profit.

Want to know what it really takes to succeed in affiliate marketing?

I'll cut to the chase right now.

You need to start creating content.

You need to start building your audience.

You need to do it consistently.

If you create content, you'll start building credibility. People will like, know and trust you a lot faster.

That naturally leads to the second point.

People will start watching your videos, reading your emails, etc... They are your audience.

Without and audience, you have nothing solid. Start building one right now.

My advice is to start building your email list ASAP.

Third: Consistency.

You can't just do it for a week or for a month.

If you are really serious, you'll do it for years, literally.

"Rome wasn't build in a day"

That's the truth. You need to put in the work for a long period of time.

Think about for a second what is the very first contact they have with you.

Do they even have a reason to answer?

I'll keep it short.

If you aren't providing value upfront, people don't have ANY reason to answer to a random stranger from the internet.

But if instead you give a piece of valuable information that has he potential to solve a problem, your response rate will be a lot higher.

And I'm not saying to spam people all over the internet "providing value".

What I'm saying is to really look for people you can help and provide massive value.

That's the fastest and most effective way to get people to like, know and trust you.

After that, the sales will come naturally when you make an offer.
