Petrosky, M.H.A, RDN, LDN, FAND, the Department Chair of Nova’s Master of Science in Nutrition program and Director of the dietetics internship program. In this podcast episode, we aim to answer many of the unknown’s that might be associated with a private school and give you some tips and tricks straight from their director. In our fifth episode, we sent a team of students to interview Amanda Miller, a recent graduate of Florida International University dietetic internship and with a Master’s program in Dietetics and Nutrition. Amanda shares with us what to expect from this whole process, how her experience was during internship, and tips she wished she knew going into the internship.

In our fourth episode, we sent a team of students to interview the founder and director of South Miami’s Larkin Community Hospital Dietetic Internship, Registered Dietitian Su-Nui Escobar. Joining her is also Larkin’s main preceptor, registered dietitian Natalie Carabeo. In this podcast episode we’ll be able to get a glimpse into what it’s like to intern at Larkin Community Hospital, what the committee is looking for in applicants and how to prepare, how this internship prepares you as an RD, and overall great tips about how to be a successful dietetic intern.
