Scripture:
“There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.” — John 1:6
Have you ever walked into a room and felt completely alone?
Surrounded by people…
Conversations already happening…
And then someone asks,
“Who are you here with?”
It’s a simple question. But it touches something deeper — belonging, identity, purpose.
In John 1:6, before we are told what John the Baptist did, we are told who he was and where he came from: he was a man sent from God.
John didn’t arrive by accident. He was sent with purpose.
And in many ways, the same is true for us.
The workplaces we enter.
The homes we live in.
The communities we move through.
None of it is random.
In this episode of Digging Another Well, we reflect on what it means to be sent — not self-appointed, not alone, but placed by God in the spaces we occupy.
Even when we feel small in large rooms…
Unknown in crowded places…
Our presence is not insignificant.
We belong to Christ.
And we represent Him where we are.
