Throughout this journey of building your business and going through life, we are told that you need to get yourself some mentors in order to navigate it all.
In this episode of Sunday Motivation, I wanted to give you a story about the 2 different times I tried to get mentors locally in Trinidad and Tobago, why it didn't work out, my views on mentorship and give you the top 6 mentors in my life.
In this episode, I mentioned 2 books I think that everybody should read if they want to succeed with building a business in the digital age. Those 2 books are Key Person of Influence - Daniel Priestley and Rise of The Youpreneur - Chris Ducker.

One of the best things I ever did was focus on creating business content.
It's different than creating random videos for entertainment purposes on social media. When you focus on solving problems for people that they value and you are educating them on things happening within your niche, you become the go-to resource.
Once that happens, this begins to open up a new world of opportunities for you.
In this episode, I go into 5 ways that becoming a business content creator has been great for my business and also helped me in my personal life.

Getting business in the Digital Age is not like what businesses are accustomed to in the Caribbean, it is completely different than what is required for Brick & Mortar stores.
Businesses in the region still try to rely on their brand name when getting traffic to their website and haven't realized that the digital world is less about the brand name and more about who understands how to be found for the right Google Search Queries.
Do you know how to show up for your potential client's problems or desires online?
In this episode, we dive into 7 tips to help build your discoverability and increase the traffic/awareness to your platforms and grow your brand.

In the Digital Age, Content Marketing is the #1 form of marketing.
In this episode, we dive into 6 reasons why a solopreneur does not need to build a team to create or scale a business.
The beauty of being a Solopreneur lies in the flexibility we have with our time and location freedom but we can also leverage tools, automation and freelancers to perform tasks within our business.
It all comes down to a choice. We are now able to scale a business through digital means, as long as that that is what we desire to do.
In 2021, a Solopreneur no longer needs to scale by adding a team but can create multiple streams of income and still be the lone wolf in their business. It will also give you the freedom of only relying on yourself and not have to worry about other people within your business.
***I made a mistake in the episode...Youtube has paid out the equivalent of 345k Full-Time jobs in the US...not 60k***

As E-Commerce continues to grow within Trinidad and Tobago, the regulators and stakeholders are doubling down to make sure that all service providers are compliant, so that the protection of the consumers can be protected to the highest degree.
In this interview, we speak with Stephon Duncan of Social Pay and Ocey Phillips - Ecommerce Consultant on the state of E-Commerce in T&T.
Social Pay has recently suspended its services to ensure they are fully compliant with the regulators and we were able to break down what the process is for those who are looking to create their own payment facilitation company or a marketplace in T&T.
We even dove into how business owners and consumers can check to see if the marketplaces & payment service providers that they are using to build their businesses, currently have their required licenses from the Central Bank of Trinidad & Tobago, Mastercard and Visa to operate.
The last thing you want is to for you to invest time and money into building your brand on a platform, only to be told that they are now being shut down due to not having the proper licenses to operate.
