It’s rare you find a creative with no formal photography training, someone who barely knows the settings of their own camera and yet within 3 years of photography they have already developed their own unique photographic style and the ability to capture loud, eye-catching images that scream out of its two-dimensional-format. Milky Hyde is a Perth based creative photographer and artist. In this episode, we chat about how the context of her upbringing, being out of the school system, self-taught, and surrounding herself with other creatives has influenced her out-of-the-box thinking and freedom to express herself through her work in an unhindered and unrestricted way. Milky doesn’t follow trends, she barely looks at other photographers works, and couldn’t care less about the latest camera gear. Her creative process comes from in the moment observation, diving into mediums without judgement, collaboration and play. Stay tuned to learn how to unrestrict your own creativity. Hope you enjoy!
