Working with people isn’t just about hiring the right person. You still need to manage the project and collaborate to get the most out of your investment. Just because something is a project, doesn’t just mean you should just get it ticked off and done. You’ve invested in your business and you should get what you’ve paid for, and yes we want to enjoy working with people, but the people pleasing needs to be dialled in right.

This is the third and final episode in a series about hiring and managing your marketing hires. I’m new to AI myself, and have tried using it but found it quite hard to train the tools to match my brand voice. Neither of us are experts on AI, but as I’ve been listening to other takes on it and other podcasts, it seemed to me like Brand Voice was being left out of the conversation. I wanted to chat with Rachel about AI through the lens of copywriting, and brand voice. We want to be able to use these tools , but with accurate expectations and checks and balances in place to make sure we are still on brand. Since we embrace automation around here, we want to use AI to save us time, without compromising on the value we’re providing. I use AI to edit this podcast, with it switching between the video options, and it saves me at least an hour or two per episode, so I’m ready to apply it to other parts of my business.
