In this episode, I interviewed Jonathan Tallman, the CEO, and Co-founder of Meaningly. Jonathan has been practicing product management for so many years. He has a degree in English Language and Literature and right now, he is working in the world of computer visual language.
Jonathan walks us through his experiences working with Meaningly and some of the most important lessons he learned through this journey.
In this episode, we discussed:
1. About Meaningly, Inc., their starting point, and their core team.
2. The lessons he learned from his previous experiences in his career.
3. The importance of letting the sales experts do their job.
4. His journey with Meaningly.
5. Meaningly's ideal customers for each of their products.
6. How they identify the ad campaigns that will perform well.
With where they are in business today, there are limits to the activities that they can generate and we came up with the following extra steps that they can do to bring them to the next level for sales:
1. As you hire an STR, bring in someone very good at what they do and can work independently.
2. Establish a digital footprint.
a.) Try to see if you can leverage some alternative ad platforms.
b.) When you start getting customers, collect reviews from them on public platforms.
c.) Put yourself out there. (e.g. going to or starting podcasts)
WHAT IS DIGITAL MARKETING FOR HUMANS?
Digital Marketing for Humans is an interview-style podcast aimed squarely at business owners. It's hosted by a business owner. Around 90% of the guests are business owners. It's a platform that shares the stories of business owners, which other business owners might find useful.
Each episode is unique because everyone's story is unique. We cover the journey of each guest, starting with why they chose to go the entrepreneur route, where they are today, and what they've learned in the process.
We cover what it takes to build a sustainable business. The good, the bad, and the ugly; it's all in there. I really think there's something for everyone so take a listen and learn something new.
