Do you know who this fellow is? He’s bandleader Johnny Noble, who, in the 1920s, played a leading role in introducing Hawaiian music to the mainland. You’ll hear just three of his more than 100 recordings in the second segment of this week’s edition of the show. In the first segment we’ll celebrate the birthday of bandleader Dave Harman. In other segments, we’ll hear songs about lanterns, piccolos and ding dongs!
