Lizzie and Simon explore the fall-out of Charity's revelation, Joe's complex grief, and Sadie's lies. Along the way, we also consider incompetent policing, kale smoothies, and Ross's curious placement of his signet ring.

Deaths! Weddings! Helicopters! There has been SO much going on in the past few weeks on Emmerdale, and we cover all the major stories - as well as Kev's hideous polo shirt, the hospital's worrying protocol and the ins and outs of a broken thermometer.

It's the end of our summer hiatus! This is our first ever episode recorded with us both in the same place - in Leeds, as we went on the Emmerdale Village Tour together on Saturday, so get ready for a debrief on all the drama of that, as well as a recap of the main plot points from the last 6 weeks or so and some chat about recent events in the village.

We are going on a summer break, but didn't want to leave you without any warning. So in this short non-episode, we discuss stray highlights from Simon's notes app, farming content in our own recent lives, and (most excitingly) some Emmerdale celebs that Lizzie has been hanging out with lately!

Simon is on holiday, so we're interrupting our usual podcast schedule with a review of a classic episode from Christmas Day 2008! We thought it would be primarily about Vic falling through the frozen lake, but it turned out to be largely about rabbit stew and rural church ownership battles, which on balance we probably enjoyed more.
