We chat to Alex Skerratt, a friend of Lizzie’s who not only writes the Sooty and Sweep show, but whose life has been intertwined with Emmerdale since the 80s! From growing up in real-life Hotten to living with an Emmerdale scriptwriter, Alex shares his Emmerdale memories, as well as behind-the-scenes insights into the writing process and how the show has changed over time.
