If you’re a fan of electronic music, then you’re no doubt familiar with Tensnake’s classic “Coma Cat”. The track was released back in 2010 and became an instant hit, topping charts and DJ playlists around the world. This week, the song got revamped by none other than Purple Disco Machine, and it’s sounding better than ever.

Purple Disco Machine is a DJ and producer who’s been making waves in the electronic music scene for a few years now. Lovebirds- Just Music and Me | Teardrop Recordings.

Just Music & Me, the new single from Lovebirds, is a synth-heavy disco boogie house track that will make you feel nothing but pure pleasure. It was made in his Hamburg home studio at the height of his early recording career, but it had been forgotten on the hard drive until his closest friend, SIRS (Daniel Klein), began playing it again. The main cut, “Just Music & Me” is straightfromtheheart, a mid-tempo 80s Italo boogie with plenty of luscious arpeggios and a vocoder hook that drops in the final breakdown for maximum spinal tingles. ‘For Anna (Onward Journey)’, the EP’s last song, completes it. This song is perfect for anyone who needs a getaway; an escape from reality. Whether you’re looking to forget your worries or just want to groove out, look no further than Lovebirds’ latest release.

Bonobo – ATK | Outlier.

Last January, DJ and producer Bonobo released his album “Fragments.” The long-player reached #3 on the Billboard Top Dance / Electronic Albums as well as #5 on the Official UK Album Charts and earned Simon Green two nominations for the 64th GRAMMY Awards. But the Brit is far from tired, which is why he now presents his latest single “ATK”, which is released today on his label OUTLIER in cooperation with Ninja Tune. “ATK” is an upbeat track that will get your feet moving. It’s perfect for dancing, or just enjoying a summer day. Whether you’re a fan of Bonobo or not, this song is sure to get you moving and grooving. So turn up the volume and enjoy!

FSQ – Reprise Tonight Remixed | Soul Clap Records.

The acronym FSQ stands for “Funk Style Quality.” The name is derived from a mix of three terms: funk style, quality, and quantity. It was named after the phrase “funk style quality,” which refers to high-quality funk. George Clinton & Parliament- Funkadelic, Nona Hendryx, Fonda Rae, Denise King, and Dolette McDonald were among the all-star cast of funk legends who performed on Reprise Reprise Tonight (2020), the band’s debut long album.

KÉDU CARLÖ – Coochie | Kartel Music.

Kédu Carlö is Jess and Carly – a musical duo with unique backgrounds that influence their sound. As a singer and keyboardist, Jess’s sounds are mixed with Carly’s drums to create references to Chicago house, acid, techno, electro and breaks. This is all tied together with intricate percussion work, melodic experimentation and lyrics that complete the bold live sets Kédu puts on.

Ampersounds – Summer Sampler 22 | White Label.

award-winning electronic artists Fred Falke and Zen Freeman have teamed up to create Ampersounds, a new project that takes retro-contemporary music to the next level. This September Sampler is packed with brand new tracks that show off their impressive ability to blend elements of house music, disco and Indie-dance. In addition to original songs like “Beachclub”, “World Is Ours”,”2am Sunset”, “Let’s Go Dancing and Sacrifice”, this download also includes three 80’s inspired covers of Kate Bush’s “Don?t Give Up Talking Heads’ “Burning Down The House”,and Bronski Beat?s ?Why?”.
