PPI - up .2% vs expected .3% - year over year is moving down 2.3% vs. 2.7%
This is good - inflation going down - cost of goods going down
So we have inflation (CPI) going down - cost of goods (PPI) going down and the debt ceiling is the only unresolved issue
$dis earnings - they met with the Disney plus losing less than expected - crazy in that it was up 4% and then down 4% and just kept going around as the earnings came out
Great description is the Wall Street journal headline - Heard on the Street: Disney jolted investors with record subscriber loss following a price increase at its streaming business in the second quarter—showing the trade-off between growth and profits
$hood earnings - beat - up 7% - looks like gambling on options by degenerates is back - crypto trading was in line too - there are 11.8 million daily degenerate users
$u - unity software beat and was up big with their guidance
$bynd - smaller than expected loss and a higher guide - up 10% when announced
$sonos - down big but have you heard their speakers? Crazy how good the surround sound is and very affordable compared to a high end system.
$goog closed over $109 which I personally think means we are off to the races
$ulta - a good look at why you trim positions at 52 week highs and buy as it goes lower if you believe it’s a good stock
- Roth MKM upgrades $RBLX
- @GoldmanSachs downgrades $TWLO
- @jpmorgan upgrades $AXON
