Members Reviews:
Public domain work
I listened to an audio production of this and had to go straight to the text to figure out if it was somehow cut off. It was not. This story ends so abruptly, I'm STILL not entirely sure an extra page wasn't lost somewhere at the publishing house.
A man's closest friend goes missing and is presumed dead. There's a bit of philosophy thrown out and some description of the countryside, and then the oddest resolution I've seen in a while. If resolution it can be called.
Make sure you don't wast money of this. If you somehow want to read, it's in the public domain. I listened to a free audio production from Librivox's 17th Ghost and Horror Collection.
